In order to deposit an cumulative amount of more than 15.000,- euro, you would need to upgrade your verification level on the BUX Crypto platform. For this we kindly request you to login to your BUX Crypto account and select your name on the top right and click 'settings'. Next, navigate to 'verification level' and click the 'provide documents' button.

You'll receive an email which will give an explanation of what documents we need in order to upgrade your account status. Note: this is required from you so that we can fulfill our regulatory compliance duties.

Below, you'll find an overview of the documents that we can need and an explanation about what documents we can accept.

  • Proof of Residence: official document that states your complete residence address.

We accept photos or PDFs of one of the following:

-Home utility bill (e.g. water, gas, electricity)

-Bank statement 

-Home internet bill

-Government letter (such as from the tax authority)

We cannot accept the following documents as proof of address: payslips, rental agreements or mobile phone bills.

  • Proof Source of Funds: official document(s) that show what the source of the money is that you use to invest in cryptocurrency.

We accept photos or PDFs of one of the following:

-Salary statement

-Bank receipt that shows your earned salary of the last 3 months.

-If you are self-employed, it is also possible to send a bank receipt of your personal bank account showing that you receive income from your own business in the last 3 months.


The documents must be no more than 3 months old and show the following: your name and current address, the company name and logo and the date of issue. The easiest way is to send us a digital document in PDF format. It is also possible to take a photo of the required documents with a phone. Please reply to the e-mail that you requested with the documents added. Processing your documents can take up to 2 business days. Thanks in advance!
