Sometimes 2FA fails. In many cases this is because the time on your separate devices (e.g. PC and Mobile) are not synchronized.
If the time and date mismatch, you will receive the “Two factor auth code not correct” message.
For 2FA to function properly, the date and time on the device on which you are logging in to BUX Crypto must be exactly the same as those of the device where you receive your 2FA code.
To make sure you have the correct time:
- Navigate to Google Authenticator
- Go to Settings
- Select "Time correction for codes"
- Click "Synchronize now"
If you have synced your devices, but you are still unable to access your account, please make sure that you have followed the step-by-step instructions for enabling 2FA.
